A9X Torana
The A9X Torana was intoduced in late 1977 and produced to allow them to run as a production vehicle at Bathurst. The A9X option was available on all SL/R 5000 & 5 litre SS models covering both sedan & hatchback models.The major improvement was the much stronger 10-bolt Holden Salisbury-type differential & rear disc brakes.
